"The Creature" EL tactical knife, obverse side view, O-1 tungsten vanadium alloy tool steel blade, nickel silver bolsters, redheart hardwood handle, kydex, aluminum, blued steel sheath
"The Creature EL" Tactical Knife, Extended Length Blade

Here's a great version of the Creature, a knife originally designed by an active duty USAF Pararescueman for his use and carry in tactical operations. This particular model has a bead blasted and hot blued O-1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium tool steel blade, nickel silver bolsters that are satin finished, and a striking Redheart (Chakte Kok) hardwood handle. The blade has an extended length and is about an inch longer than my standard Creature pattern. The sheath is one of my tension fit models in double thickness kydex, 5052H32 corrosion resistant aluminum, and blued steel screws.
