"Patriot" Fine Tactical Custom Knife

My Patriot design was originally created for a Special Forces combat grade weapon, and this particular model has an extended blade length. The blade has a full hollow grind, with a half- length top swage that adds an aggressive, profile-reducing geometry without sacrificing spine strength. The knife has spine filework in front of the thumb rise, and the tang is fully tapered for weight balance. The knife is bolstered with 304 austenitic high chromium, high nickel stainless steel, and the three bolster sets are dovetailed to bed two pairs of rich and bright Red River Jasper gemstone handle scales. This jasper is as red as red can be, and is very tough and durable, taking and holding a lusterous finish indefinitely. The rear bolster has a through-tang lanyard hole for extra security. The blade is also custom etched with the owner's name.

The sheath for this knife is hand-carved 9-10 oz. leather shoulder, dyed black, lacquered and sealed. It is hand-carved and has inlays of red Stingray skin and is hand-stitched with polyester sinew for longevity.

Thanks J. L.!
