The "Gibson Trailhead"

Size: Length overall: 9.5" (24.1 cm), Blade Length: 5.25" (13.3 cm), Thickness: .1875" (.48 cm)

Weight: Knife: 7.5 oz. Sheath: 5.5 oz.

Blade: Etched 440C High Chromium Martensitic Stainless Tool Steel, Hardened and Tempered to Rockwell C59, hollow ground and mirror polished

Fittings/Bolsters: 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel, mirror polished

Handle: Polished Sodalite Gemstone

Sheath: Black Rayskin inlaid in deep blue Hand-Carved Leather

This tough Gibson Trailhead was stylized by fine etching on the blade, a Japanese wave pattern which matches the sodalite and the deep blue-black sheath. An excellent piece for collection or use.
