Grim Reaper

"Grim Reaper" tactical combat knife, obverse side view, blued O1 high carbon tool steel blade, paper micarta phenolic handle, kydex, aluminium, steel, leather sheath
Grim Reaper Push Dagger

Custom made for a military client for his use and carry as a Primary Edged Weapon and tool, the Grim Reaper is a formidable knife. The blade is over five inches long, and this particular version is tough and durable O-1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium tool steel, double hollow ground with a 3" contact wheel for a tight radius grind that is very thin at the cutting edge, yet very stout in the spine. It's bead blasted and hot blued for a jet black flat appearance and improved corrosion resistance. The blade is 5/16" thick at the ricasso, and the handle is bolstered with cold-blued carbon steel. The bolsters are dovetailed and bed a pair of tough paper micarta phenolic handle scales, secured with four carbon steel blued pins. The sheath is double thickness kydex thermoformed over a 5052H32 corrosion resistant high strength aluminum welt frame, and the knife is secured with double nickel plated steel snaps in 9-10 oz. leather. The sheath has a nickel plated steel belt/boot clip for a variety of wear options and fast relocation.

This is a real knife, for real combat use.

Thanks, R.M.!

That Grim Reaper knife made it through two year long rotations to Iraq. It is well made and the heat, sandstorms, and all that chaos that Iraq could throw at it did not phase it one bit. Thank you.

Very Respectfully, R. M.
