"PJLT" Tactical Collaborative Knife by James Beauchamp and Jay Fisher
  • Size: Length overall: 11.25" (28.6 cm), Blade Length: 6.25" (15.9 cm), Thickness: .196" (4.9 mm)
  • Weight: Knife: 11.0 oz. (312 grams) Sheath: 9.2 oz. (261 grams)
  • Blade: 440C High Chromium Martensitic Stainless Tool Steel, Hardened and Tempered to Rockwell C59
  • Bolsters, Fittings: 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel
  • Handle: Canvas Micarta Phenolic
  • Sheath: Locking Kydex, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Nickel Plated Steel
  • Knife: This is another PJLT collaborative work by James Beauchamp and Jay Fisher. This is our most popular CSAR knife, proven in the field of combat in marine, mountain, and desert operations. The blade is high chromium, highly corrosion resistant 440C martensitic stainless tool steel. The blade is fully hollow ground, with a thick spine for support and a half-length swage to reduce point profile while preserving strength. The blade has 2" of vampire rip teeth serrations and a fully tapered tang to reduce handle weight and maintain balance. The bolsters are made of dovetailed 304 stainless steel, a zero-care, high nickel, high chromium extremely corrosion resistant stainless steel. The bolsters bed a pair of canvas reinforced micarta phenolic scales, and the entire knife, blade, bolsters and handle are bead blasted for good tactile grip and wear. The edges are razor sharp, and at 59 HRC, will maintain a fine, hard and tough cutting edge for a very long time.
  • Sheath: The locking sheath is made of double thickness kydex, thermoformed over a .250" double layered 5052H32 corrosion resistant, high strength aluminum frame, secured with nickel plated steel Chicago screws. The sheath is fully and positively locking and waterproof. The components of the locking mechanism are stainless steel for corrosion resistance and longevity. In my opinion, this is one of the finest locking knife sheaths made. The sheath has reversible belt loops for multiple wear options.
  • This is another fine collaborative work! This is a reliable, well constructed, knife and sheath well suited for tactical combat and defensive operations. I am honored to build another collaborative PJLT with Jay Fisher, and for a great client.
