Golden Eagle

"Golden Eagle" ATS-34 high molybdenum stainless steel blade, hand-engraved 304 stainless steel bolsters, Marcasite and Jasper gemstone handle, hand-carved leather sheath
Golden Eagle

A popular older design of mine, the Golden Eagle has a proven reputation in military service and combat search and rescue, as well as being a fine collector's pattern. This one is made of hollow ground and mirror polished ATS-34 high molybdenum martensitic stainless tool steel, with full filework and a fully tapered tang. The blade has a half-length top swage, for good point profile without sacrificing spine strength. the knife is bolstered with maintenance free high chromium, high nickel 304 austenitic stainless steel, which I hand-engraved with a tiny scroll and leaf set pattern. The bolsters are dovetailed and hold a doublet-cut gemstone handle of polished gray-green metallic Marcasite backed with colorful Polvadera Jasper. The sheath is hand-carved and tooled in the same pattern as the bolster engraving, in 9 - 10oz. leather shoulder, hand-stitched, lacquered and sealed. A beautiful investment grade knife for a great client.

Thanks, D. K.!
